đ ~ The first ever song to be broadcast from outer space was Jingle Bells. It was sung by the crew of spaceship Gemini 6 to Mission Control on December 16, 1965, after they reported seeing a 'red-suited astronaut'!
đŚ ~ We know the names of Santa's nine reindeers from a poem by Clement Moore (Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen), but did you know that Donner and Blitzen is German for Thunder and Lightning, and that's exactly why they were so named!
